In a year where it feels like every band is about to release a record, it takes real substance to stand out. Today, Rudy Nuño shows us just that, breaking major news on his forthcoming album while unveiling an unexpected collaboration with Aimee Interrupter that no-one saw coming.
Rudy has officially announced his new full-length album will be titled, Heart, Hope, Perspective, while also revealing that his next single features Aimee Interrupter. The collaboration didn’t come from planning or pitch emails, it happened naturally, the way the best ones often do.
While producer Kevin Bivona of The Interrupters was working on the song in his studio, Aimee walked in, stopped, and asked what the track was. She thought it was beautiful. When Rudy later heard how strongly the song resonated with her, he asked if she’d be willing to sing on it. She said yes, and what followed was less a “feature” and more a shared moment captured on tape.

The resulting song marks a clear shift from the loud guitars and punk-driven urgency of Rudy’s recent singles. Instead, it leans into restraint, an intimate, folk-leaning ballad that allows space for reflection and vulnerability. Longtime fans will recognize this as familiar territory; Rudy has never been afraid to slow things down when the song calls for it. Aimee’s voice adds warmth and gravity, reinforcing the track’s message of hope in an increasingly uncertain world.
The single is the third of four releases leading up to Heart, Hope, Perspective, a 10-song album written entirely by Rudy and produced by Bivona. The record will follow a vinyl-first release, aimed squarely at fans and collectors, with pre-orders launching January 23 via rudynuno.com, ahead of its digital release on April 15, 2026.
The new single "Brave" featuring Aimee Interrupter will be streaming everywhere on February 13th.

Early signs point to Heart, Hope, Perspective shaping up as one of the strongest independent albums of the year, not because it’s louder or flashier than the rest, but because it feels grounded, intentional, and emotionally honest. In a crowded release cycle, Rudy Nuño isn’t chasing attention. He’s earning it.
