Sometimes the songs that hit the hardest aren't the loudest. They're the ones that quietly capture a feeling you've struggled to put into words for years. That's exactly what Carlyn have delivered with their latest single, premiering today alongside its official music video.

Filmed in the small rural town where the band first came together, the video feels less like a performance piece and more like a conversation with the past. Empty roads, familiar corners, and the places that shaped the band's early years become as important as the band members themselves, giving the song an authenticity that's impossible to fake.

At its heart, the new single wrestles with the exhausting feeling of wanting to hit the reset button when your own mind refuses to cooperate. It's about disappearing for a while, starting over, and holding onto the hope that tomorrow might finally feel different than today. It's vulnerable without becoming melodramatic, and that's where its strength lies.

Speaking about the video, the band told Orgcore:

"We filmed this in the rural town where our band started. It's a song about wanting a reset when your brain won't cooperate. It's about wanting to disappear, start over, and the possibility tomorrow could be different. We didn't have much of a plan for the video beyond driving around the places that accidentally became part of the story. It felt right to let our old stomping ground be another character in it."

It's a simple concept, but one that perfectly complements the song. Rather than overthinking the visuals, Carlyn trusted the landscape that helped shape them, allowing familiar streets and forgotten landmarks to tell part of the story.

The result is a video that feels honest and lived-in, much like the song itself. In an era where bigger often seems better, there's something refreshing about a band allowing sincerity to do the heavy lifting.

As for what's next, Carlyn aren't planning on disappearing anytime soon.

"The rest of the year is focused on writing, recording, and getting more new music out into the world. We'll also be playing a handful of smaller festivals and regional shows while we keep building toward whatever comes next. The last few months have been a little quiet, but we are excited to change that."

If this single is any indication, the quiet period has been well spent.

Watch the exclusive premiere of Carlyn's new video here, and keep an eye out for plenty more from the band as they head back into the studio and onto festival stages throughout the rest of the year. Sometimes all you need is the belief that tomorrow can be different, and Carlyn have turned that feeling into one of their most compelling songs yet.
